Isaac Success Thrills New Watford Boss In Pre Season Win Over Viktoria Plzen

Watford picked up their first win in pre season games with a 1-0 win against Czech side Viktoria Plzen at their training base in Austria, thanks to a goal from Stefano Okaka ten minutes from time.

Watford were beaten 2-3 by AFC Wimbledon in their first real pre season test before heading out to their camp in Austria, where they are expected to play two games. The first of which they played and won today.

The friendly game afforded coach Marco Silva the chance to assess fit again Nigerian forward Isacc Success and the 21 year old didn’t disappoint as he posted a strong showing on the left side of attack for Watford.

Success linked up well with left full back Jose Holebas bad their combination lead to the two best chances Watford created early into the game. The Nigerian was particularly unplayable as he won lot of fouls for his team.

His fine performance saw him last the entire duration of the game, and his pace, power and dribble helped put the backline of the Czech side under pressure which lead to the goal scored by Okaka late into the game.
