Isaac Success Pushing To Gatecrash Super Eagles Squad For Libya Tie

Published on: 25 September 2018

Watford forward Isaac Success has not given up on securing a spot in Nigeria’s squad for their upcoming back to back AFCON 2019 Qualifiers tie ?against Libya next month.

Success has enjoyed a ?regular run of games this season at Watford but mostly as a substitute and he played same role last weekend, when he played the final ten minutes of their 1-1 draw against Fulham.

So far he has played in all of the six games fourth placed Watford have played this season but his combined amount of game time is still very poor as he played a total of 49 minutes this season.

Despite his bit part role at the early season high flyers, the 22 year old who was once upon a time the club’s record signing is hoping to be a part of the Nigerian team for the games against Libya.

He last played for Nigeria in a friendly game against Senegal which ended 1-1 last year during their camping exercise in England but since then he has struggled for form and fitness, hence not considered good enough for a spot in the Nigerian team by coach Gernot Rohr.
