Inter Allies have named defender Joseph Aidoo as their new captain for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Aidoo, a centre-back, has been a constant member for the team and featured in over 25 matches for the Eleven Is To One last season attracting only two yellow cards.

The Ghana U20 team player is one of those players who has really high character and the hardest working guy around.

"It's a huge step forward but it's a proud moment in my career and massive honour, I must say," Aidoo told the club's official website www.interalliesfc.com.

"This team is blessed with many leaders and to lead these gallant leaders it’s like a dream for me. I hope I don't change much from the way I am as a player but to improve more."

In addition, defensive partner Baba Mensah will also serve as the alternate captain.
