Trezeguet: Egypt Focused on Third-Place Clash Against Nigeria

Egypt winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has emphasised that the Pharaohs are fully focused on Saturday’s third-place playoff against Nigeria at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Following their 1-0 semi-final defeat to Senegal, Hossam Hassan’s side has shifted attention to securing a strong finish in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

“Nigeria has a good team with great players, but we are fully focused on winning and finishing the AFCON with a positive result,” Trezeguet told a press conference.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 5pm Nigeria time, with both sides aiming to claim the bronze medal and end the tournament on a high.
