The Super Eagles forward sealed the transfer on Friday after passing his medical, marking a significant milestone in his European career as he joins one of the continent’s most successful clubs.

Speaking after his arrival, Moffi described the move as a dream come true and thanked the club’s hierarchy and supporters for the opportunity.

“I feel very proud to be here. Wearing the colours of this club means a lot to me, and I can only thank the president, the coach and the fans,” he said.

The striker also highlighted Porto’s rich history and winning mentality as a key motivation behind the switch.

“Everyone knows FC Porto, a club that fights to win games and trophies in Europe and in Portugal. I know how important that is for the fans, for the Porto family, so it’s very good to be here,” Moffi added.

Reflecting on his recent encounter against Porto, the Nigerian forward noted the contrast in emotions.

“Two months ago, I played against FC Porto, and I didn’t have good feelings because we lost. This time, I’m on the other side, and I feel very good.”

Moffi will now be hoping to make a strong impression at the Estádio do Dragão as Porto chase domestic honours and aim for deep runs in European competitions.
