Team captain William Troost-Ekong, alongside defenders Benjamin Fredericks and Chidozie Awaziem, were the latest to arrive at the Eagles’ camp on Sunday night, joining the seven early arrivals who reported earlier in the weekend.
Those who were first to check in include Calvin Bassey, midfield duo Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Moses Simon, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, and Samuel Chukwueze.
The remaining 15 invited players are expected to join the squad on Monday, as head coach Eric Sékou Chelle intensifies preparations for what is expected to be a thrilling encounter against the Panthers of Gabon at the Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan.
The highly anticipated clash is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. local time (same as Nigeria) on Thursday, 13th November 2025.
In the other semi-final fixture, Cameroon will face the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), with both winners set to advance to the final on Sunday evening at the same venue.
The eventual champion of the playoff series will earn Africa’s sole ticket to the Intercontinental Playoffs slated to take place in Mexico next year, as the race to the 2026 FIFA World Cup heats up.
