Franklin Tebo Uchena has been unveiled as a new Red Star Belgrade defender, arriving from Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08 on an initial three-year deal with the inclusion of a further year, Nigeriasocernet.com reports.

The 24-year-old, who will wear the number 30 shirt, began his professional career with Nasarawa United before making the move to Europe.
“I play with heart — that’s what defines me," Uchenna stated.

He first joined Swedish side BK Häcken, where he gained valuable experience, and later transferred to Norwegian club Sarpsborg in 2023. During his time in Norway, he made 60 appearances and found the net five times, showcasing both his defensive solidity and ability to contribute in attack.
