Sources close to the deal revealed that talks intensified on Tuesday, with Police FC keen to finalise the transfer as part of efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season. Eze has emerged as a priority target for the club’s technical crew, who view him as a key addition to their defensive unit.

The Nigerian defender has been a consistent presence in AS Kigali’s backline, earning recognition for his physical strength, aerial dominance, positional awareness, and disciplined approach to defending. His performances have made him one of the standout defensive figures in the Rwandan league.

Police FC believe Eze’s experience and robustness will add much-needed solidity to their defence as they prepare for domestic and continental challenges in the new campaign.
