The chances of in-form Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru getting a call up to the senior Nigeria national team has been enhanced after the forward found the back of the net yet again for his 18th goal of the season.
19 year old Onyekuru who has been linked to host of clubs around top five major European leagues scored for Eupen in the 42 minute of their 3-3 draw against Lokeren in the Belgium play offs.
He now has 16 goals in the league with two of his other goals coming in the Belgium Cup in what is his first season in the top flight in Belgium, after helping Eupen gain promotion from the second division last season.
Coach of the Nigeria senior national team Gernot Rohr is keeping a close watch on the forward and his latest goal will no doubt brighten his chances of getting invited for Nigeria in the nearest future .
