The Nigerian midfielder expressed disappointment with the result but urged his teammates to remain focused and together as they navigate a demanding stretch of fixtures.

Reflecting on the loss, Ndidi highlighted how lapses in concentration proved costly despite a bright start.

“The match was going well for us. We knew we had to do our best. We even took a 2-0 lead. When we conceded a goal after the red card, we gave the opponent the momentum they needed.

"We wanted to stay in the match. We know we have quality. But we need to stay together. We need to be united as fans and players. We can create a situation where we can achieve great things this season," Ndidi concluded.
