Coach Isaac Opeele Boateng is at variance with Black Stars coach Avram Grant over the exodus of locally based players.

Grant argues that players must spend at least two years in the Ghana Premier League before leaving abroad.

The former Chelsea manager believes that will increase the chances of home-based players to feature for the senior national team.

“Maybe Avram Grant does not know the state of the Ghanaian economy. It’s not easy. Some clubs pay players 100 and 150 cedis monthly with some players being owed three to four months salaries,” the former Kotoko coach said on Asempa FM last Saturday.

“It’s not possible for you to tell a player to stay here for two to three years.”
