The Official Draw for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2017, which will be played in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, between 27 April and 7 May 2017, took place in Tuesday and Nigeria will face Italy, Mexico and a yet-to-be-determined AFC opponent in Group B.

The Sand Eagles are making their fifth appearance at the World Cup following appearances in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011.

Nigeria’s best performance was a quarter-final spot in 2011.
