The African Club Association, ACA, has officially launched its membership registration forms, opening the platform to clubs across all 54 CAF member nations and allowing Premier League and First Division teams to sign up, obtain an official ACA membership number, and access the full benefits of the continental body, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Participation comes with an annual membership fee of $1,000 per club. ACA Chairman, Eng. Hersi Said described the initiative as an important step toward uniting African clubs under a strong, collective structure that protects their interests both on the continent and in global football.

He reiterated the association’s commitment to raising professional and operational standards across African football, while ensuring clubs have a stronger and more influential voice in major football discussions worldwide.

“This launch marks a significant milestone toward professionalising African club football,” Eng. Said noted, stressing ACA’s mission to enhance development, improve governance, and expand commercial opportunities for member clubs. Stakeholders view the registration program as a strategic move that will help shape the future of African football, especially as clubs continue to seek improved respect, financial sustainability, and global representation.

Clubs across the continent are encouraged to register early and contribute to building a more united and forward-looking African football ecosystem.
