Wikki Tourists captain and right back, Mustapha Ibrahim has predicted a very difficult match against Rivers United.

The Bauchi Elephants are hosts of the Pride of Rivers in Wednesday’s top-flight matchday 11 clash at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.

Ibrahim said his side have corrected the careless mistake that robbed them of a decent result at newcomers, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC in IIorin on Sunday.

“We are foreseeing the toughest match against visiting top-flights, Rivers United.

“Rivers United drew at home against Kano Pillars in rescheduled matchday 7 clash in Port Harcourt only to lose next week 10 road clash at Sunshine Stars so are certain to come out in full force at us to chance getting something from the clash.

“I think we are prepared for them as we have corrected the careless mistake that saw us lose at ABS FC.

“It will a different ball game against Rivers United as we have done the needful to ensure we grab the three points at stake.

“We are damn ready mentally, physically and spiritually to fight Rivers United for the maximum points.

“Everybody (teammates) has promised to give his all in the game to ensure the three points do not elude us,” said the former Nigerian junior international strongman to supersport.com.

Wikki Tourists are 17th on the 20-team top-flight log on 10 points 10 behind leaders, Plateau United with two games at hand against Kano Pillars and Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC.
