Henry Onyekuru Hits Winner For Anderlecht In Win Over Mouscron

On loan Everton forward Henry Onyekuru helped his loan side Anderlecht to a 2-1 win over Excel Mouscron in a top division league game in Belgium.

Massimo Bruno gave Anderlecht the lead in the 42nd minute, a lead they hanged on to till the half time break in the fixture decided at the Stade Le Cannonier.

Omar Govea drew Mouscron level in the 52nd minutes, and just when it seems the game would be ending in a draw Onyekuru popped up with the winner for Anderlecht, ten minutes from full time.

The goal was the 7th goal the Nigerian has scored this season from 15 league games, a remarkable tally considering how slow he started his career at the club after joining them on loan from Everton.

Last season he scored 24 goals in all competitions for modest side KAS Eupen, and if he maintains his current form in front of goal he could equal or surpass the figure.
