The Ghana right-back was in full flight and lasted the entire duration at the Columbus Crew Stadium.

But the home side were undone by Fanendo Adi’s double strikes with Kei Kamara scoring the consolation.

Afful, who was making his sixth appearance for the club, took to Twitter to say sorry to their followers for that disappointing performance.
