Former Cesena skipper Guiseppe Colucci has heaped praise on retired Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah by saying he is one of the most dedicated players he has worked with.
The 34 year old played with Guiseppe in the 2010/2011 season in the serie A, a moment which hold special prominence to Appiah.
Colucci who has had stints with clubs including Roma and Bordeaux says Appiah stands amongst the most dedicated players he has had an opportunity to work with.
“Appiah is a great personality and a dedicated footballer,” The former Italy U20 star said
“I have played against and with really good players but definitely one of the most dedicated I have played with is Stephen.’”
The Italian will leave Accra on Sunday back to his base in Italy after playing in the farewell game.
