Sporting Lagos Academy emerge victorious over Beyond Limit Football Academy in the Gothia Puma trophy semi final match in Gothenburg on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Noisy Lagosians edged the Sky Blue Stars in an enthralling encounter which ended 5-4 at the SKF Arena.

Bidemi Amole opened score for Sporting Lagos on 13 minute before Beyond limits equalized from the spot six minutes later through Sunday Ogbonaya.

Four minutes later, the Lagos side were back in the lead as Tunde Akomolede assisted once again from a throw in for Amole to score his second goal of the game.

Amole completed his hattrick to make it 3-1 on 30 minutes to extend Sporting's lead at the end of the first half.

However, Beyond Limit got two goals in the second half in the 40th and 43rd minute through Toheeb Abiodun and Jimoh Toheeb to keep the game at equilibrium.

But the goal rain was not over as John Lucky restored Sporting Lagos lead on 47 minute.

Beyond Limit equalised again on 54 minute through Kparobo Arierhi to set up a frenetic end as the tie ended for penalties, but Nasiru Saliyu ensured the Noisy Lagosians had the last laugh after scoring a minute before regulation time.

Sporting Lagos will now play FC Tokyo of Japan in the final on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nigeria's representative in the U-16 stage lost to Arab Emirates on penalties after a goalless affair in the round of 32.
