Rangers after first-choice goalkeeper Nana Bonsu twisted his knee and this could now leave the Nigeria champions with only one registered goalkeeper.

Rangers confirmed Bonsu hurt his knee during Wednesday’s rescheduled game at home against Lobi Stars and that was why he could not finish the game.

He will now be reassessed later today to determine the gravity of the injury.

In the absence of Ghanaian shot stopper Bonsu, who was the hero when Rangers pulled off a 1-1 draw at JS Saoura of Algeria in a CAF Champions League clash, Rangers only registered goal tender will be Akor Itodo.

Nigeria Olympic team goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel has joined South African club Orlando Pirates.

It was gathered that the Ghanaian goalkeeper, who has been training with the team for some months now, has yet to be cleared.

Rangers are due to travel to Egypt early next month to battle mighty Zamalek in continuation of the Champions League.

They also have several outstanding NPFL games due to their international engagements.

They play at MFM FC on Friday night before they are guests to Shooting Stars in Ibadan next week.
