The Egyptian Football Association has announced it has punished Al Ismaily's Ghanaian marksman John Antwi for unsporting behaviour and slapped him with a four-match ban.

The Ghanaian has been slammed with a four-match suspension as well as a fine of $800.

The Egypt FA said it decided to punish the Ghanaian attacker after his assault on a player of Al Gaish in their match in a Cup game last Friday.

Antwi led his team to win this game as they qualified for the round of 16 stage after he scored the only goal of the game before he saw red ten minutes before the end of the game.

This is not the first time Antwi is being punished. Last season the Egypt FA suspended him for four matches for the same reason.

Antwi is the top scorer of the Egyptian league with 12 goals for Al Ismaily in the league. He has also scored once in the Egypt Cup.

The 22-year-old player is, however, in advance talk with Al Shaba of Saudi Arabia and he might leave in this transfer window.
