The Ghanaian international, who is out of contract and the end of the season, looks set to join the Giallorossi on a free transfer despite interest from several of Europe’s top clubs.

Sky Sport Italia report that the Giallorossi are willing to offer the player €3 million per year on a three year contract, as well as commission to Ayew’s agent.

The two parties are set to meet in the coming days to discuss the deal and possibly sign a contract.

The winger has refused several contract offers at Marseille with sources stating he would have had to accept a salary cut to stay with the French side.

Roma, who recently suffered a loss to AC Milan, are guaranteed a spot in Europe next season though they are in a battle with Lazio and Napoli for a place in the Champions League.

Ayew has appeared 28 times for Marseille this season, scoring 10 goals.
