Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko are close to confirming an official deal for the return of striker Seidu Bancey, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The two parties have reached verbal agreement and are set to translate it into an official agreement latest by the close of work on Wednesday.

Kotoko insider Alhaji Amin confirmed to Accra-based Oman FM: "We are almost done with the deals and hopefully everything will be done and dusted to allow them play for us when the league starts."

Kotoko are keen to beef up their squad ahead of their domestic and continental campaign this season with marquee signings.

Amin also confirmed talks between the Red giants and former Berekum Chelsea forward Emmanuel Clottey who is back to Ghana after failing on a stint abroad.
