Heart of Lions applied the brakes on Sekondi Hasaacas after smoothly edging the Do-Boys 2-0 in a thrilling encounter at the Kpando Park on Saturday.

Mohammed Razir powered Abubakar Yusif's side into the lead with a fabulous strike in the 17th minute before Abdullai Abdul Karim registered his first goal of the campaign with a strike from inside the box.
The Giant Killers have thus handed Hasaacas their first defeat of the season but would not be able to overtake them on the table.

Hasaacas played a solid game after Razir's opener and looked like they could pecked the scoring before the final whistle but Karim scored a poacher's goal to firmly put the game beyond Hasaacas.
Hasaacas could drop out of the top-four.
