Ghana coach Avram Grant challenged his players to a foosball game ahead of their quarter final clash against Guinea on Sunday.

The former Chelsea boss enjoyed some lone time with his players at the team hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Grant took part in a mandatory pre-match press conference with Fatau Dauda at noon and returned to the team’s base at the Sofitel President to relax with his players.

The 56-year-old took on Christian Atsu and Jonathan Mensah on the table football game – foosball.

Grant was partnered by goalkeeper Ernest Sowah with Christian Atsu and Jonathan Mensah his opponent on the other side of the table.

The foosball game forms part of the Israeli trainer’s strategy to keep the players relaxed ahead of an expected tensed game against Guinea on Sunday in Malabo.
