Gent Moses Simon Explains Miraculous Recovery From Injury, Fit For Super Eagles Friendlies

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Moses Simon has made a miraculous recovery from an ankle injury picked up during his team winter training ahead of the re-start of the league in Belgium.

Simon was originally billed to be out for five to six weeks but the forward started individual training two weeks ago, and during the course of the week joined his colleagues in training.

Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com, the 22 year old said his recovery can best be described as a miracle because his recovery defied the date set for him by the medics.

” It’s a miracle. First of all I thought I had a fracture, later I was told it’s just a bruise and I will be out for five to six weeks. I started feeling really well by the third week and last week was when I had my first session with the team”, Moses told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.

” Hopefully I will play very soon, but I have been given the all clear to return to competitive football and if I am invited for the Super Eagles friendly games in March, I will no doubt honour it”. He concluded.
