The 27 year old forward arrived Tunisia yesterday where he will undergo a medical today before penning a deal if all goes according to plan.

Salami had a short stint at Kazakhstan outfit Irtysh Pavlodar scoring four goals in seventeen games before his contract was terminated, which enabled him to join Denizlispor as a free player.

His departure from the Turkish side less than a month into his stint with the club is partly due to salary issues, something that is a norm with most Turkish sides especially second division teams like Denizlispor.

Since taking his trade abroad from the Nigeria Profesional Football League ( NPFL) , Salami has only enjoyed a productive spell in Finland where he represented KuPS for three seasons.
