Through official channels, Canvey Island FC have announced the signing of the versatile Nigerian defender Gabby Adelowo in their bid to beat the drop.
The Billericay Town starlet will remain on loan at The Islanders for the remainder of the 2016-2017 campaign.
Adelowo numbers Aldershot Town and Queens Park Rangers among his former clubs.
On his debut on Saturday, he lasted the distance as Canvey Island were hammered 5-0 by league leaders Bognor Regis Town, with Fulham loanee Elijah Adebayo netting a hat-trick for The Rocks.
Gabby Adelowo can be deployed as a central defender, right back and central midfielder.
