The 4-2 victory the Super Eagles of Nigeria recorded over Argentina on Tuesday did nothing to change their status ahead of the December 1st draws of the World Cup.
FIFA confirmed the pots ?for the World Cup hours ago after Peru clinched the final qualifying spot for the World Cup in Russia next year courtesy of a 2-0 aggregate win over New Zealand.
Super Eagles are in Pot 4 due to their last month ranking of 41st in the World, and the win over Argentina will only be factored into the rankings for November.
The draws will take place at Moscow’s State Kremlin Palace on Friday the 1st of December 2017.
