Slovenian club NK Olimpija Ljubljana have announced the arrival of Nigerian striker Chinedu Udechukwu on a one-year loan deal, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Udechukwu linked up with the club from Nigeria Professional Football League club Katsina United.
The 23-year-old according to a statement on Olympic Ljubljana’s official website has the chance of making his stay with the club permanent should he make a big impression during his one-year stay.
The forward who is expected to undergo his medical examination on Wednesday according to the statement inked a contract with the club last month but could not travel to join his teammates due to the delay in the processing of his travelling documents.
He had his first training session with his teammates on Monday and has been allotted Jersey number 40.
Olimpija currently sit at the top of Slovenian League with 52 points from 22 games, four more than second-placed Maribor who still have a game in hand.
