Ghana defender Mashudu Alhassan is now father after his wife had a safe delivery of a girl on Sunday morning at the Rimini hospital in Italy.

The Udinese defender had to abandon plans of joining his teammates for the pre season in order to be by his sweetheart.
Alhassan has been struggling to secure into top-flight since emerging on the international scene three years ago at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

He was Ghana’s first choice left back at the tournament co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea as the Black Stars finished fourth.
