Published on: 05 December 2016

Nigeriasoccernert.com can exclusively revealed that Belgium side Genk have started the search for a replacement for Leicester City bound Wilfred Ndidi, and they are currently mulling over two Nigerian teen.

Ndidi will join Leicester City in January after a fee which could rise to £18m was agreed for his transfer by the Premier League Champions, and the 19 year old appears to have opened the door for more Nigerians to be recruited by the club.

Since joining Genk in January of 2015, he has made a total of 61 appearances, but he experienced a strong rise in his career and market value when he was moved from central defence to defensive midfielder.

The fact that Genk will be making a huge profit from his sale has made them line up two players from the all conquering Nigeria U-17 World Cup team of 2013.

We gathered one of the players they are targeting is presently injured while the other recently failed to move abroad after turning 18, but Genk are still willing to hand him a trial.
