EXCLUSIVE: Egyptian outfit Smouha terminate contracts of ex-Kotoko duo
Seidu Bancey

Egyptian side Smouha FC have terminated the contracts of ex-Kotoko duo Seidu Bancey and Abdul Aziz Yusif, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The two players have been told to look elsewhere after failing to make the grades, top officials of the Egyptian side have told Ghana’s leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com.

The two players joined Smouha last year after helping Kotoko to clinch a record third successive Ghana Premier League crown.

Bancey, who emerged Ghana’s second league top scorer with 11 goals,  did not kick a ball in a competitive match, forcing the Egyptian outfit to cancel his two-year deal.

Aziz played a bit-part role during the last six month but was not enough to convince Smoua officials of his abilities.

The two players have arrived home to plan for their next move but it's however unclear if they will return to Kotoko to save their careers.
