Stoke City midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has backed former Manchester United starlet, Tosin Kehinde to succeed at Portguese top division side,Feirense.
Kehinde joined Feirense on a free move from Manchester United, and one of UK’s top newspapers,Record wanted to know the Stoke player’s opinion on the move.
“The adaptation of a young Nigerian player, just as I was when I arrived, to a European league may not be easy, but I believe that Kehinde will be physically and mentally prepared for the Portuguese reality, even because he made his entire career in England.
“I believe he can succeed in Portugal, I see this change as a big step for him. Nuno Manta Santos is incredible, I believe he can help Kehinde a lot as he did with me. He knows how to make the best of the players, that’s one of his greatest qualities.”Etebo also reiterated his love for the Portuguese side.
“Of course I’ll be the biggest Feirense fan here in England,” the player told Record. “I met some great people at theclub.
“I’m loving the UK, but I’m following what’s going on in Feirense every day. I was very happy with the first victory of the season.”
