Enyimba forward, Chinedu Ohanachom has said he will not celebrate his goal at former side, El Kanemi Warriors.

The former FC Taraba marksman campaigned for the Maiduguri Warriors in the immediate past top-flight. The six-time Nigerian champions will be the guests of the Maiduguri outfit in Sunday’s top-flight Match-day 6 clash at the Maiduguri Township Stadium.

Ohanachom said the teeming fans in Maiduguri have voiced their desire to warmly welcome him and teammate, Mustapha Ibrahim to the city for the expected crunch clash.

“Well the clash at former side, El Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri is a normal thing nothing spectacular or unusual.

“The fans in Maiduguri have voiced their interest to welcome us to Maiduguri even though we are playing for the opposing side.

“There have been calls for us, myself and Mustapha Ibrahim to be party to the side that will confront El Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Sunday.

“So we are keenly looking forward to the match as well as the chance to see once again our teeming fans.

“Of course, I will love to score against El Kanemi Warriors in the clash but I will avoid any form of celebration.

“I do not know how Mustapha Ibrahim will react after scoring I think we must show respect and appreciate the side for giving us a platform to up our career.

“Besides, I will want to be party to Enyimba side that will break the home invincibility of El Kanemi Warriors.

“I know it’s going to be a tough order but I wish to break the jinx but if that proved difficult we will want to pick a point.

“I will not want to come out of the encounter a loser that will not be sweet,” said Ohanachom to supersport.com.

El Kanemi Warriors have notched up six points from possible 15 in the five-week old Nigerian top-flight.
