English side Chelsea are looking to bring Christian Atsu back from his loan at rival Premier League side Everton with Derby County keen on signing him.

According to a report in the Sun newspaper, the Blues want to end the Ghanaian winger’s stint at Goodison Park so he can get regular game time in the Championship with the promotion-chasing Rams.

23-year old Atsu has appeared just three times in the Premier League this season and it is believed that Chelsea are unhappy with how his stint with the Toffees has gone and could bring him back to west London before allowing him to move to the iPro Stadium for the rest of the campaign.

Furthermore, Derby boss Steve McClaren recently lost Jordon Ibe who was recalled by Liverpool and is looking for an apt replacement as he looks to guide the East Midlands club back to the top flight.

Atsu is currently away with Ghana at the 2015 African Cup of Nations and featured for 68 minutes in their 2-1 opening group stage loss to Senegal on Monday.
