FC Midtjylland loanee David Babajide was once again among the goal scorers for his loan side FK Haugesund in their 1-1 draw against Sarpsborg 08 in the Norwegian Eliteserien. 22 year old David who was on target last weekend in Haugesund’s 3-0 thrashing of Bodoe Glimt opened scoring for his team with about the last touch of the first half, which ended 1-0 in favour of team. However five minutes after the restart Sarpsborg 08 levelled matters to bring scores to 1-1. A score which none of the team could alter at the end of proceedings in what was one of the games in the 4th round of games in the Eliteserien. Signed on a season long loan deal by Haugesund, 22 year old David who was once upon a time viewed as one of the most promising talent in the ranks of Danish side FC Midtjylland has two goals and two assists to his name in just four games for his loan side. Last season he was on loan to second division Norwegian side Jerv and he scored 8 goals from 14 appearances improving on his goal tally of none in 11 games in his first spell with the team the previous season.
