Despite assurances of a two-day window (from Wednesday) given by the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Malam Abba Kyari for the resolution of the grievances of Nigeria’s Super Falcons players following yesterday’s protest to the State House in Abuja, Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung has refused to corroborate or directly confirm the Monies will indeed be paid.
Dalung says the federal government is working assiduously to help the NFF raise intervention funds, to offset the debt owed the players but disagrees that a specific time period can be put on the payment , contrary to what the Chief of Staff vowed.
