A brace from Cyril Olisema ensured progression for Nigeria representative in the CAF Confederation Cup as it helped them to a 2-0 win at Hawks of Gambia.
The win helped the Nigerian side progress on a 3-2 aggregate score despite losing the first leg tie in Uyo 1-2 last week. Coach Abdul Maikaba and his wards turned the tie around in brilliant fashion.
Denis Nya missed an early penalty to put the Nigerians ahead but Olisema brace scored in the closing stages of the first half and early into the second half clinched the tie for the Uyo side.
They will face Al-Ittihad of Libya in the final round of qualifiers ahead of the games of the group stage
