Nigerian duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will play Premier League football next season with Leicester City following a win from QPR against promotion-seeking Leeds in the English Championship match played on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

While the Foxes were expecting to secure promotion by winning their next match against Preston on Monday, they were favoured with QPR who needed a win to maintain their championship status.

The Foxes, who were relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2022/23 season, are now guaranteed a spot in the top flight for the 2024/25 campaign, even without kicking a ball.
