England youth international Ola Aina is ready to commit his international future to Nigeria ahead of England.
19 year old Aina can play on either side of the defence as a full back and is one of the highly rated teen in the Chelsea academy even though he is yet to make his first team debut.
A source close to the player revealed he has on more than one occasion enquire from his senior Chelsea colleague and Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi on how it feels to play for Nigeria.
“Aina have a strong bond with Nigeria and he is a big fan of the Super Eagles thanks to his parents, he has on more than one occasion approached Mikel to ask questions about the team, he will play for Nigeria if he get a call-up” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.
However in the main time he needs to sort out his club future as he is yet to pen an extension with Chelsea despite the Blues keen on retaining his services, he is wary he won’t be giving a crack at the first team due to the number of senior players in his position.
