This season he has found the back of the net five time in 17 games, and overall he has 36 goals for Carpi in 124 games since joining the team in 2013 from Padova. He is presently contracted to Carpi till 2020.

The issue of work permit won’t pose any difficulties as he presently holds an Italian passport ?, and according to Di Marzio, a medical would be done in few days time.

Three years ago, he was linked with a possible call up to the senior national team of Nigeria after his goals lifted Serie B side Carpi to promotion to the Serie A.
