Wolfsburg have announced the signing of Luca Waldschmidt from Benfica for a fee of 10.8 M Pounds. German striker is back to Bundesliga after just single season in Portuguese league. He made a surprising move to Jorge Jesus side last season for 15 M Euros. German striker who has 7 INT caps, moved to Portugal from Freiburg where he spent 2 seasons & showed his potential. He is Eintracht Frankfurt's product & made his debut in 2014. He also played for Hamburg for 2 seasons where he struggled & joined Freiburg in 2018. He did play 2 games for Benfica scoring 2 goals but now has again made surprise move back to Van Bommel' s side. He scored 9 goals in 27 games for Benfica.
