Victor Moses has announced has confirmed he will no longer represent Nigeria Nigeria at international level in a letter published on his verified twitter handle, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Moses said the decision to call time on his international career is to enable him focus on his club career at Chelsea and also spend time with his family.
He confirmed he has already told coach Gernot Rohr of his decision to quit the national team of Nigeria via a telephone call , a decison which he said he has also conveyed to the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) .
27 year old Moses represented England at various youth levels from U16 to U 21 before switching allegiance to Nigeria at senior level ?where he has 37 caps with 12 goals since making his debut in 2012.
So far he has played at two World Cups and also won the African Cup of Nations title with the Nigerian team in 2013 in South Africa.
