"?Juventus are set to offer defender Alex Sandro a new €60m deal, as they look to tie down the Brazilian admist reported interest from both Manchester United and Manchester City.

The 25-year-old joined the Old Lady back in 2015 for an estimated €25m from Porto. Having established himself in the side, Sandro enjoyed his first season in Italian football, where he won the domestic double with his new club.

Having impressed since arriving in Turin, reports by Italian media outlet "?Calcio Mercato suggest that the full-back will now be offered a significant wage increase that could see his current €2.8m annual salary tripled at the very least.

Sandro's current deal runs until 2020 but the Brazilian has been the subject of interest from both Man City and United, with the latter believed to have been tracking the full-back as early as last year.

Both Premier League teams are on the lookout for new defenders, as managers Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho want to strengthen their squads in the new year in a bid to find a winning combination that will help maintain their respective title challenges.

With heavy interest in their left back, Juventus are keen to up Sandro's wages and add another two years to his current deal, which would likely mean his transfer value increases significantly enough to turn potential buyers away.

Should the player agree to extend his contract, he would join teammate Leonardo Bonucci in committing to the club, as the centre-back recently signed a new four-and-a-half year deal.
