Ghana international defender Abdul Baba Rahman has insisted Augsburg could still secure a ticket for next season's Uefa Europa League though there are pressure from Werder Bremen and giants Borussia Dortmund.

Augsburg allowed the points slip through their fingers at the SGL arena as Hannover 96 defeated them 2-1, allowing Bremen and Dortmund to further close the points gap from just behind them.

Though Baba admits Augsburg made mistakes in that game, he is confident they can still secure an European ticket after the coming weekend's clash at M'gladbach.

"We lost because we didn't play good. The opponents were super in defence. But we have another chance next week. It is going to be a tough game because at the moment they are a very difficult opponents but we still have a chance," he told Bundesliga.com.

Ausgburg will secure their place in next season's Europa League of they beat Borussia M'gladbach in an away fixture.
