Not a few Nigerians watched the 4-0 bashing of the home-based Super Eagles by their Moroccan counterparts on Sunday night.
However, among the most notable was former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who watched the game surrounded by family and friends in his plush sitting room.
He posted a picture of the game on his verified personal Twitter handle.

However, the home-based Super Eagles failed to live up to expectation, losing 4-0 to the home-based Atlas Lions in African Nations Championship final game played in Casablanca.
Atiku tweeted after the game, “Sad loss for all of us. You fought bravely. Thanks for bringing Nigeria all the way to the finals @NGSuperEagles”
