The former Juventus man has been hailed from all quarters of the game and Ayew says it’s important that he sticks around to help them win that 5th elusive Africa cup of nations.

“Appiah has been extremely important to us. He and Laryea Kingson helped me when I was coming through the ranks,” Ayew

“I hope he sticks around the team even when he retires so we can win the Africa cup of nations together.”
