Andre Ayew will reunite with his former Lorient coach Christian Gourcuff when Ghana tackle Algeria in an Africa Cup of Nations group C game on Friday.
Ayew played under Gourcuff during a loan spell from Marseille in the 2008/9 season.
Gourcuff played significant role in the player’s development and will reunite with his former bos when the Black Stars battle the Desert Foxes in a crucial second group game at the Municipal stadium in Mongomo.
The second son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele went ahead to make 22 appearances for the side and scored three goals.
