Former Nigeria Super Eagles coach Daniel Amokachi-led JS Hercules opened their season with a 2-0 loss at OPS in Finland.
The game was a derby, but JS Hercules lost as they failed to take their chances in the game.
Amokachi's boys played some good football with free flowing passing, but the forwards were shy in front of goal.
The club paraded two Nigerians, Junior Obagbemiro and Nathan Ibeh.
JS Hercules host AC Kajaani on Sunday.
