Fatai Osho has resigned his role as the Coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Akwa United, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

Osho leaves the Promise Keepers following a challenging start to the 2023/2024 NPFL season which has left the club in the relegated zone.

With the former Enyimba gaffer, Akwa United recording 3 wins, 5 draws and 6 loses in 14 games, 12 points away from 1st, 1 point away from bottom placing in the 17th position.

He becomes the 4th coach to lose his job this season with Christian Obi (Heartland), Tony Bolus (Katsina United), Hamza Abara(N/Tor) who were sacked.

Reports reaching Nigeriasoccernet.com say that Coach Abdullahi Umar who has been with the club for a very long-time will take charge of the team.
